Jackie Bailes, 85 of Marietta, Ohio died at the Marietta Memorial Hospital on March 12, 2019. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA on August 13, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Lawrie Cazes and Hilda Hall Barillier. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Williamstown, WV.

She had been a executive secretary for Marietta Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Larry Bailes, a son, Larry C. Bailes of Cloudcroft, NM, a daughter, Vera Dianne Seagraves of Georgia, a daughter, Rebecca D. (Greg) Syner of Marietta, Ohio, a daughter, Glenda G. (Mitch) Ludwig of Chicago, IL and a son, Jeffery (Kim) Bailes Marietta, Ohio. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Lawrie Henningan of Fayetteville, AR, and Carolyn (Gary) Griffith of Blacksburg, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Barillier and a sister, Kay Barillier. Services will be on Friday at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Williamstown, WV. with Larry Bailes officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery, Belpre, Ohio. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM. Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre is asisting the family with arrangements.
