Regina B. King, 94, of Belpre died March 3, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Regina was born December 6, 1924 in Mt Pleasant, PA and was the daughter of the late Walter and Pauline M. Ruse Bechtell. Regina had worked for Ohio Valley Press and had been a volunteer for Camden Clark Hospital.

She was a very active member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church for over 60 years. She loved playing bridge and yahtzee and loved cooking as well. Regina is survived by her son David R. King (Virginia) Jamestown, NC; daughter Ann Wesson (Jeff) Belpre, OH; 5 grandchildren Allison Walsh, Jonathan King, Eric King, Jaime Harbour and Cali Wesson; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, John G. King, brothers Walter and Robert Bechtell and a sister Eleanor Lipko Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, March 7, 2019, 10:00 am at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church, with Father Robert Gallagher as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Little Hocking, OH. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, OH.
