Bonnie Louise Greene Law, 88, of Parkersburg went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 4, 2019. She was born on June 25, 1930 in Parkersburg and was the daughter of the late John Marshall and Ruth Marguerite Woollard Greene. Bonnie graduated in the 1948 class of Parkersburg High School.

She then went on to Mountain State College earning her business degree. She retired from Sears as a store clerk and worked as assistant to Dr. McCusky, assistant and friend to Dr. Auvil and a nanny for Dr. Howard. Bonnie was a very active member for over 70 years at Bethany United Methodist Church, including being the Youth Director for several years, singing in the choir, and a member United Methodist Women’s group.

She also served as a Girl Scout and Boy Scout Leader. Bonnie had a love for the arts especially painting and singing. Most importantly, she loved spending time with and caring for her wonderful family.

Surviving Bonnie are her four children, Dr. James Patrick Law (Martha), Steven Michael Law (Belinda), Jayne Ann Law-Kimes all of Parkersburg and Brenda Louise Jones (Russ) of Washington, WV, 10 grandchildren, Sean Law, Sarah Levy, James Montgomery, Dr. Jennifer Law, Rachel Montgomery, Jacob Hoschar, Jordan Hoschar, Olivia Morrison, Kirsten Jones, and Allison Jones, and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband James Perry Law and brother Jack Greene. Funeral services will be 3PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Leavitt Funeral Home with Pastors Mike Broadwater and Sean Law officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8PM Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home Parkersburg. To send flowers or a remembrance gift to the family of Bonnie Law, please visit our Tribute Store.
