Viola E. Richards Viola Elizabeth Richards, 64 of Parkersburg, passed away March 8, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born April 27, 1954 in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Albert and Bessie (Wells) Davis. Mrs. Richards was a homemaker and enjoyed BINGO, paparazzi jewelry and spoiling her grandkids.

Surviving are four children: Peggy Richards, Felicia Vandergrift, Raymond Richards III and Dale Richards, seven siblings: Karen McIntire, Jenny McWilliams, Betty Caplinger, Shelby Wilson, Marie Smith, Roy Davis and Dwayne Davis, four grandsons, three granddaughters and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond “Speedy” Richards in 2016 and brother Robert Wells. In following Mrs. Richard’s wishes, she will be cremated.

There will be no funeral service. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday 6-8PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
