Margaret Jeanne Dye, 83, of Mineral Wells went home to be with her Lord and Savior March 12, 2019. She was born on June 12, 1935 in Parkersburg and was the daughter of the late Homer and Margaret Leonhart Marshall. Margaret worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Grant County Memorial Hospital.

She was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she played the piano and accordion. Margaret enjoyed working word search puzzles and reading.

She was especially good at cooking and cheering on PHS and the Mountaineers. Surviving Margaret are two daughters, Connie Sue Dellinger (Richard) of Mineral Wells and Paula Jean Bergdoll (Hank) of Moorefield, WV, two sons, Paul Michael Dye (Susan) of Port Deposit, MD and David Bryan Dye (Janelle) of Mineral Wells, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one brother, Karl William Moreland (June) of Walker, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Reverend Paul David Dye, brother, Herman Moreland and sister, Mary Louise Young.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Stout Officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.

Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home Parkersburg and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church. To send flowers or a remembrance gift to the family of Margaret Dye, please visit our Tribute Store.
