Donna’s Obituary STEWART, Donna J. – of Davison, MI, age 74, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Friday, March 29, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. , Davison; Pastor Douglas Connelly officiating.

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pregnancy Center of Lapeer. Donna was born in Pontiac, MI on January 3, 1945.

She was a dedicated special education teacher at Davison Community Schools for 12 years and was always proud of her students. After retirement, she volunteered at the Pregnancy Center of Lapeer and at her church, Davison Missionary Church, spending countless hours supporting others. Donna was an eternal optimist who saw the good in everyone and God in everything.

She enjoyed quilting, gardening, helping others and spending time with her family. Donna especially loved her time with her grandchildren. She taught us all so much about love.

May her memory be eternal. Donna is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Kelly (Steve) Sanderson, Todd (Gloria) Stewart, Chris (Svitlana) Stewart; brothers, Mike (Bonnie) Simpson, Dale (Ruth) Simpson, Jerry (Janet) Simpson, James Simpson and Victor Simpson; sisters, Janet (Charles) Riley, Darlene Simpson, Brenda (Brian) Tanner and MaryAnn Simpson; grandchildren, Johnathon and Victoria Stewart. She was preceded in death by her mother, Avis (Russell) Annibal; father, Charles (Norma) Simpson; brothers, Chet, Paul, Charles and Richard “Dick” Simpson.
