Donna Jean Dvoracek Donna Jean Dvoracek, born November 24, 1927, passed away May 11, 2018, at the age of 90 at Edgewood May Creek in Walker, MN. Donna was born in Mapleton, Minnesota to Dan and Evelyn (Ewing) Terrell. She grew up on a farm Northwest of Madison Lake, MN.

In 1946, she married Jack Hasselfeldt, from whom she was later divorced. She married Marvin “Dale” Dvoracek and lived in Anoka, MN until retirement, when the couple moved to Walker. Donna was an active member of the Coon Rapids and Walker American Legion Auxiliaries for over 71 years.

She worked in the food service industry and at Mercy Hospital. Upon retiring, she and her good friend, Milly cleaned houses and cabins for a few years. After work, they would always stop for a cocktail; they were good friends.

Donna was also very active in the Walker Car Club and helped with the annual car show. Donna is survived by her children, Sherry (Terry) Edson of Staples, MN, Lance (Beth) Hasselfeldt, of Isanti, MN, and Jeff Hasselfeldt of Longmont, CO; step-children, Marvin A. (Lynee) Dvoracek, Linda (Bryon) Leneau, Janie (Bryon) Copley, Ron (Theresa) Dvoracek, Ana Anderson, Byron Dvoracek; sister-in-law, Sandra Terrell; and brother-in-law, Ron Dvoracek. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Dan Terrell; husband, Marvin “Dale” Dvorcek; son, Steven Hasselfeldt; brothers, Ralph (Margeret) Terrell, Lee Terrell, Danny Terrell; sister, Ruth Waber and sister-in-law Lorraine Terrell.

Services will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Calvary Church in Walker at 1:00 p.m. with a gathering of friends and family one hour prior to service. Inurnment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Donna’s family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the dedicated caregivers at Edgewood May Creek Memory Care in Walker, and to the CHI St. Joseph Hospice Care, who showed great care and compassion to Donna.
