Donna’s Obituary Danville, Illinois – Donna Jean McCoy, 80, of Danville, IL, passed away at 6:20 am Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Gardenview Manor, Danville, Illinois. Donna was born January 17, 1939 in Danville, IL. She was the daughter of Harold and Hazel (Wolfe) Davison.

She graduated from Danville High School in 1957. She spent her early years working for her parents in their radio business – Davison’s Radio Dispatch. On May 31, 1964, Donna married Hershel Lee McCoy in Danville.

She enjoyed many years with him traveling while he served in the Army. In her later years she again got to experience her love of traveling with her daughter’s family and spent many summers in Canada and cruising the Caribbean and Alaska. Donna enjoyed playing cards, word games, puzzles, and was an avid doll collector.

She was also a member of the Governor Bradford Chapter NSDAR and Vermilion Heights Christian Church. Donna is survived by her daughter Evelyn (Robert) White of Danville, grandchildren, Jacob White of Danville, Leslee White of Danville, Kelly McCoy of Georgetown, Katie McCoy of Georgetown, Kloe McCoy of Georgetown and Allanah Davis of Covington, and 1 great-grandson, Navar Alonzo Lopez of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and her son, Alonzo Frank McCoy.

Private family graveside rites will at the Johnson Cemetery in Danville with Reverend Phil Jackson officiating. The Robison Chapel of Catlin is handling service details. Online condolences at www.
