Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully Saturday, May 25, 2019 at St. Francis Home. Age 89 years. Daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Debniak) Rogalski, Donna was born December 6, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan where she resided her whole life.

She was a 1948 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. Donna was married to the boy next-door, C. David O’Brien on September 10, 1949. He predeceased her March 10, 1999 after 49½ wonderful years of marriage.

After raising her children, Donna was employed at JC Penny’s for 20 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, its Altar Society, enjoyed reading, getting together with her Penny’s bunch and most of all, spending precious time with her family. Surviving to cherish her memory are six children, Becky O’Brien, Saginaw; Rachel (Calvin) Roenicke, Bay City; Neil (Connie) O’Brien, Chesaning; Dan (Gloria Hanes) O’Brien, Montrose; Amy (David) Cook, Birch Run; Laura (Phillip) Lindstrom, Allegan; 11 grandchildren, Matt (Jennifer) Conrad, Alison Valasek, Ben Bush, Stacie (Todd) Kwaiser, Brian (Tizza) Roenicke, Luke (Sarah) O’Brien, Jillian (Michael) Spitzley; Larz (Ashley Stanton) Lindstrom, Mitchell (Hong Chuan) Krogman, Kacie (Austin Vela) Krogman, Brett Cook; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Marcia Stanolis, Bay City; several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her daughter, Bridget Conrad and her great-granddaughter, Cassidy Roenicke. Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2019 at St. Francis de Sales Parish, St. Christopher Catholic Church, 3945 Williamson, Saginaw. Rev.

Fr. John S. Mancini, OSFS will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
