Donna Lee Cunningham, nee Payne, of Nixa, Missouri, formerly of Steelville, Missouri passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the age of 86 years. She was born January 23, 1932 in Browning, Missouri to Alfred B. Payne and Rebecca Baker Payne. She was united in marriage to Sherman Cunningham in 1948 and to this union two children were born.

Donna graduated from Steelville High School. She worked until retirement at the University of St. Louis in data processing and later moved to be near her family in the Springfield, MO area. Donna attended the Nixa Assembly of God Church and enjoyed spending time at the Nixa Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by one son, Ronald A. Cunningham and wife Joi of Sagamore Hills, OH; one daughter, Carol Ansley and husband David of Springfield, MO; one brother, Eugene Payne of MO; one sister, Margaret Beasley of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The Family will receive friends from noon until the graveside service on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Steelville Cemetery. The Family was served by the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home of Steelville, MO.
