Doris’ Obituary Doris Boone, was born in Sunflower, Mississippi to Robert and Hattie Linwood June 1, 1934. She was married to B. L. Patton, Sr., in which they had four children, Lynn Hytower, Ben L. (Shelia) Patton, Jr., Ray D. Patton, and Glenn (Jean) Patton. She had seven brothers and two sisters.

Her parents, four brothers, two sisters, son Ray, daughter Lynn and grandson Micah, proceeded her in death. She was a faithful Servant to her God Jehovah, got dedicated in 1968 and became a full time pioneer for many years until rheumatoid arthritis got her down. She helped many people young to old to learn the Bible and have the hope of everlasting life.

She lived in Peoria, Illinois most of her life, but most recently moved to Arkansas with her son and daughter in law. We would like to thank Happy Valley Nursing Home, Kindred Hospice care, and Area Agency on Aging for their kind assistance. Surviving her is her brothers Eugene, Leroy & Alvin Linwood, sons Ben (Shelia) Patton and Glenn ( Jean) Patton, grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many, many friends in Peoria and Malvern.

Funeral arrangements will be by Brandon’s Mortuary with a Memorial Service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Malvern, Arkansas on Saturday December 1, 2018, at 2:30pm with Brother Jim Williams officiating. There will also be a Memorial Service at Parkside Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Peoria, Illinois on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 4:30pm with Brother Scott Spaulding officiating.
