Lisbon – Doris Nelder, 86, passed away Thursday morning, April 19, 2018 at her home. Doris was born on August 24, 1931 in Kingwood, WV, a daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Fizer) Lamar. She was a member of Church of Christ of Pleasant View in Lisbon, and enjoyed crosswords puzzles, knitting, and baking.

She will be deeply missed by her 10 loving children, 30 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stephen “Buck” Nelder, whom she married on November 14, 1948 and passed on January 23, 2003; four sisters; and three brothers. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 26, 2018 from 5-7:00PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel at 180 Garfield Dr NE in Warren, with services held at 7:00PM. Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday at Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood, W. VA.
