Obituary for Dorkes Overton Huffman Dorkes “LuLu” Overton Huffman, 71, of Martinsville, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was born February 23, 1947, in Martinsville, Virginia. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Virginia Haley Overton; daughter, Lisa Overton; and sister Mary Ferguson. Mrs. Huffman is survived by her husband Michael Huffman; sisters, Linda Janney, Joyce, and Kay Overton; and brother David Overton. The funeral will be Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 11:00 A. M., at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Overton Cemetery, Overton Drive, Axton, Virginia. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
