OBITUARY Anne Helene Rega July 13, 1955 – December 1, 2018 REGA, ANNE HELENE, 63, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of North Greenbush, NY, on December 1, 2018 at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX after a brief battle with cancer. Anne was preceded in death by her father, Edward Rega and brother James. She is survived by her mother, Helen S. Rega of North Greenbush, brother Daniel (Patricia) of Sugar Land, TX, sister Mary Jo Norman (Craig) of Voorheesville, NY, brother Michael (Ann) of Scituate, MA.

Also survived by nieces Meghan Rega, Lydia Norman Hung (Wilson), Lara Norman, Jessica Rega, and nephews Peter (Kyra), Matthew & Jack Rega as well as grand-nephews Isaac Rega and Theo Hung. Companion of Ken Nelson of Fort Wayne, IN. Anne worked for the Veterans’ Administration for over 30 years where she was Team Manager of a national clinical support team.

This allowed her to live and travel throughout the United States and Samoa. Anne developed deep friendships from coast to coast too numerous to mention. Always young at heart, Anne will be remembered for her cheerful, generous, kind and fun-loving personality.

She was very devoted to her family, especially her nieces and nephews who loved to spend time with her crafting, playing games and traveling. Anne will always hold a special place in her family’s heart. Visitation will be on Monday December 17th from 10 to 11 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 175 Williams Road, Troy NY followed by mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne’s honor to Locks of Love, 234 Southern Blvd. , West Palm Beach, FL 33405 (locksoflove.org).
