Obituary for Carroll “Wimpy” Wilson Carroll Elbridge “Wimpy” Wilson, 79, of Axton, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at his home. He was born on March 13, 1939, in Irisburg, to the late Joseph Paul Wilson, Sr. and Elsie Mae Barker Wilson. He was self-employed as a logger and truck driver, and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Doris Agee Wilson; daughter, Carolyn (Douglas) Martin; sons, Michael (Debra) Wilson, and Jeffrey (Sharon) Wilson; sister, Doris (George) Martin; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Mr. Timmy Wilson and Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Burial Park.

A visitation will be held Monday night, December 17, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. On Line condolences may be made at www.
