Obituary for Emma Estella Thompson Miss Emma Estella Thompson, 88, of Kernersville, North Carolina, formerly of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was born May 9, 1930, in Rockingham County, North Carolina, to the late Henry Clarence and Katie Redd Thompson. Miss Thompson is survived by her daughter, Miss Kimberly Thompson of Kernersville, North Carolina; sister, Mrs. Bettie Geraldine Scales of Blacksburg, Virginia; and grandchild, Mr. Terrance Lawrence of Raleigh, North Carolina.

The funeral will be Monday, December 17, 2018, at 1:30 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Bishop McDaniel Preston officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at The Scales Family Cemetery, 1451 Kings Mill Road, Ridgeway, Virginia.

Repast will be held after interment, at Antioch Baptist Church at 160 Antioch Church Street, Ridgeway, Virginia. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. On Line condolences may be made at www.
