Dorothy Gladys Ridenhour Shaver, 79, of Richfield, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Rowan County in Salisbury. Mrs. Shaver was born November 15, 1938 in Stanly County to the late Adam Henderson Ridenhour, Sr and the late Ida Gladys Misenheimer Ridenhour. .

She was also preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Richard Shaver. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at New Bethel Lutheran Church, 21746 Rogers Road, Richfield. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 4:00 PM.

Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Survivors include daughters, Darlene Shaver Webster of Richfield, Penny Shaver Stefani and husband Chuck of Michigan, and Alanna Shaver McLaughlin of Richfield; granddaughters, Brandy Webster, Ashley Slay and husband Andrew, and Amber McLaughlin; and brother, Clyde A Ridenhour; Memorials may be made to New Bethel Lutheran Church, 21746 Rogers Road, Richfield, NC 28137. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Shaver family.
