Tifton- Mrs. Dorothy Jane Seaver Moorhead, 94 of Tifton died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Legacy Village. Memorial service information is not available at this time. Mrs. Moorhead was born on March 25, 1924, in Moline, Illinois.

She was the daughter of William Douglas Seaver and Wilma Dorothy Curtis Searver. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty six years, John Vincent Moorhead who died in 2001. She had lived in Tifton, since 1998.

She loved her family and her church family. She enjoyed being outside where she was very active working in her yard on a daily basis until her recent illness. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Dorothy Moorhead of Tifton and grandson Brandon Moorhead of Tifton, her brother and sister-in-law, William D. and Mary Ann Seaver of Milan, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
