Dorothy Janice Higginbotham-Willcox August 31, 1943 ~ March 6, 2019 Dorothy Janice Higginbotham-Willcox, 75, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. She was born on August 31, 1943 in Morganton, NC, the daughter of Fred Postell and Annie Parris Higginbotham. She graduated from North Carolina State University.

She married Tilton Willcox in Greenville, NC. Tilton later passed away. Janice loved cats.

Janice is survived by her step-daughters, Dr. Sara Hudson and Wendy Wheeler; sister, Doris Rice; niece, Laurie (Vincent) Satovich; nephew, Todd Rice; great-nephew and nieces, Zane, Lindsay, and Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 2374 Grant Ave, Ogden.

Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT.
