Obituary for Dorothy Jean Elmore Dorothy Jean Elmore, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 12, 2018 with her family by her side. She was a long time member of St. Denis Catholic Church. She is now a member of Mary Queen of Peace.

Dorothy’s life was her family. She loved being present for every family event. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Paul Elmore , Jr. in 2006, and grandson, Alex Michael Bemiss in 1988.

She is survived by her children, Beverly Rogers (John), Janice Bemiss (Peteza), Sharon and Sandy Elmore, Dennis (Judy), Tim (Sherry), Mike (Lisa), Mark (Laura) and David (Kelly) Elmore; grandchildren, Stephanie (James), Nathan (Jenny), Amanda, Andrea (Andrew), Holly, Corey, Jordan (Amanda), Layne, Eve, Hope, Spencer, Taylor, Alec, Emma , Morgan and Bryce; great grandchildren, Reagan, Kate, Brooks, Whitney, James, Luke, Grant, Kendall, Maximus and Simon; her card playing club and her faithful dog “Sterling”. Her funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday September 17, 2018 at Mary Queen of Peace , 4005 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday September 16, from 2 – 8 p.m. at Ratterman Keenan Southwest Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road.
