OBITUARY Charles W. Simpson January 1, 1938 – September 9, 2018 Simpson, Charles W., 80, passed away September 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Nathan Simpson and Lucille Simpson-Phelps; siblings, William Nathan Simpson, Fines Elmer Simpson, and Eva Jewel Crawford. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 61 years, Georgia Simpson; children, Carolyn Ogburn (Dave), Chris Simpson, and Carlitta Simpson; grandchildren, Athena, Nikki, Tiffany, and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Dante, Liam, Aurora, Jada, Kaleb, Nevaeh, and Little Anthony; siblings, Adie Mae Renfrow (J.W.), Joe Kenneth Simpson, Warren B. Simpson (Helen), Phyllis Mudd (Ronnie), and Linda Ford (Walter); and brother-in-law, Henry McIntyre (Penny).

The funeral service will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 at 2 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 pm-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Charles can be made to the American Heart Association.

FAMILY Charles was preceded in death by his parents, William Nathan Simpson and Lucille Simpson-Phelps; siblings, William Nathan Simpson, Fines Elmer Simpson, and Eva Jewel Crawford.
