Dorothy June (Julian) Conrad, 86, Sumner, IL, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at her home. Dorothy was born August 23, 1931, in Ragsdale, IN, the daughter of Herman and Ershel (Loving) Julian. Dorothy’s parents died at an early age, so she helped raise her 6 siblings.

She married Robert Russell Conrad on February 17, 1950. She worked at the Vincennes Hardee’s for 20 years, working early morning making biscuits for many customers. She collected cookbooks, enjoyed reading and watching the Young and the Restless.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Bobbie Russell (Audrey) Conrad of The Villages, FL, Douglas Lee (Yun) Conrad of Louisville, KY, David Mitchell (Teresa) Conrad of Sumner, IL and Victoria Sue (Peter) Cooper of Johnson City, TN; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy Julian of Hawaii, Jimmy (Maria) Julian of Atlantic Beach, FL, Mary Jane Julian of Mobile, AL and Judy Ann (Leonard) Weidner of Mojave, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert on May 16, 2010; and siblings, Herman “Bud” Julian, Norma Davis, Kenneth Julian, Danny Julian and Terry Julian. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel with Adam Strauser officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service. She will be laid to rest at Bicknell Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
