Gingerich, Dorothy M., age 97 of Farmersville passed away September 28th, 2018. She was born in Clermont County to the late Herbert and Esther (Fels) Keller, graduated from Batavia High School and went on to obtain her Bachelors Degree from Miami University. Dorothy was a member of Farmersville United Methodist Church and retired from Valley View Schools after 27 years of teaching.

Dorothy enjoyed gardening, her flower beds, and reading. She especially loved her family, sports, and attending sporting events and fair events to watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Francis Gingerich in 1996, her brother Mervyn and his wife Almira Keller, and her brother Raymond Keller.

She is survived by her daughters Carol (Don) Michael, Betty (Larry) Brown, Jean (Mark) Gesoff, grandchildren Todd (Holly) Michael, Jason (Jenny) Michael, Mark (Dionne) Brown, Michael (Heather) Brown, Kelli (Jimmy) Lind, Julie (Michael) Cangro, Becky (Bryce) Bruner, Frank (Annette) Gesoff, and Glenn (Susan) Gesoff, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, her sister in law Vi Keller, and her companion and caregiver Beth Hull. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00am at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home, 29 N. Main St. Germantown with Pastor Brian Thie officiating, burial immediately following at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9:00am.
