Obituary for Dorothy “Dot” Chaplin Dorothy Mae (Russin) Chaplin died on Thursday June 21, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Williston on January 8, 1947 the daughter of the late Gerald and Florence Russin. She work at The Koffee Kup for 35 years.

Retiring in 2013. Dot was a huge fan of the Yankee, Patriots, and Warriors, attending all the kids sporting events. She had a big heart and open arms for all.

Her favorite activity was picking fiddle heads. Left to cherish Dot’s memory are her daughters Mary and George Whitney of Es, and Rose Chaplin of Es, son Richard Chaplin, JR. , of Es and she also raised two grandsons Cyle and Cory Chaplin like they were her own sons.

Also she is survived by her grandchildren Pamela, Robert, Steven, April, Kirstin, Richard III, Abbigail, Connor, Cadin, and Ryann, great-grandchildren Khia (Poopy), Collin, Jordan, Justin, Lily, Paityn, great-grandchildren Carter, Ava, Zoie, Jason Jr., Emily, Cameron, Carson, and Kinsley, her siblings Mary, Gary, Kenny, and Patricia. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Chaplin, Sr in 2002, and her parents Gerald and Florence Russin, and her partner in crime her Aunt Cecile Russin. Calling hours will be held on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service 132 Main St., Winooski, Vt 05404.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday June 29th at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery, River Rd. , Richmond. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at the VNA for all their loving care.
