Obituary for Nancy Lavigne (Vaughn) Nancy Jean Lavigne died Monday September 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 25, 1927 the daughter of the late George and Victoria (Housen) Vaughn. Nancy was born in Elizabeth New Jersey and moved to Grand Isle Vermont at age 7.

Nancy attended Burlington High School. In 1944 she married Rayburn F Lavigne in Atlantic City, NJ. They spent the rest of their married life in Burlington.

Nancy and Rayburn enjoyed their winters and summers together at Coates Island as well as Lavigne’s Lodge in South Lincoln, VT. Nancy was happiest spending time with her grandchildren, especially summers on Coates Island. Nancy is survived by her son Gary Lavigne and wife Mary of South Burlington, daughter-in-law Pinky Lavigne of Williston, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Rayburn F. Lavigne, son Rayburn V. Lavigne and daughter Vicki J. Lavigne. Per Nancy’s request there will be no funeral service and burial will be scheduled at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
