Obituary for Marie M Walbridge (Bessette) Marie Margret Walbridge of Burlington, 69, passed away from this earth on Saturday, October 20, 2018. She was born in Burlington on May 12, 1949. Marie was a caring, selfless person who loved children (Child Whisperer) and ran Marie’s Day Care for many years.

She had a free spirit and a great sense of humor; her laughter was contagious and up-lifting. She is now a beautiful soul, free of all earthly trials and is now with her beloved daughter Melissa Ann Walbridge, who pre-deceased her May 1981. She was also predeceased by her sister Laura Lee Bessette in 1954, her nephew Matthew Bugbee in 1998 and her niece Nichole Sterling in 2013.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 51 years, Eric Lee Walbridge, her son Judd Peter Walbridge, and her brothers and sisters: Robert Bessette, Louise, Mike Zduich, Claudette Sears, June and Bob Bugbee, Suzette Bessette, JoeAnn Bessette, Gail Cameron and Gibert Bessette. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, November 1 between 4-7pm at the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main Street in Winooski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 11 am at Holy Family Church, Lincoln Street, Es Junction with burial directly after at Fairview Cemetery, Es Jct.

A reception to follow at 1 pm at Holy Family Parish Hall (next door to the church). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. Condolences can be shared at www.
