Obituary for Dorothy O. Taylor Dorothy O. Taylor, 89, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Symphony at Oaklawn. She was born October 24, 1928 in Frankfort, KY a daughter to the late Ambrose Osborne and Ann Dale Stafford Osborne. Dorothy was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Cecil Taylor, Jr.; daughter, Linda Walls and her sister, Lois Johnson. She is survived by two sons, Gary (Keek) Taylor, Gregory (JoAnn) Taylor; son-in-law, Clyde Walls; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Living Hope Baptist Church, 10205 Bardstown Bluff Road, Louisville, followed by burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt.

Washington. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at Symphony at Oaklawn and Hosparus for their loving care.
