Lexington-Dorothy T. Frankhauser, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018. Born in Avon IL, January 7, 1924, she was the daughter of Carter Harrison and Vera Mings Trumpy. She attended the University of Iowa School of Nursing where she met Keith H. Frankhauser.

They were married in Avon, IL August 11, 1945. She enjoyed hosting dinner parties, playing bridge and sewing. She is survived by four daughters, Carol Winnermark of Gainesville, FL, Sara Oggel of Durham, NC, Kristin Phillips (Glenn) of Newberry, FL and Amy Longtine (Larry) of Lexington, SC; brother, Robert Trumpy (Alice) of Nokomis, FL; 11 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and daughter in-law Jean Frankhauser of Avon, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, and son Robert, and three grandchildren. The family would like to thank Tidewater Hospice, the staff of Oakleaf Village and particularly the sitters that have been so wonderful to her for the past year and a half. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.

Memorial services and burial will be held at a later date in Avon, IL. Memorials may be sent to Avon Federated Church, P O Box 565, Avon Il 61415.
