Dorothy E. Vogel, age 90, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at Tri-Point Medical Center. She was born November 22, 1927 in Somerset, PA the daughter of Minnie Marie (Bittner) and Conrad Eisler. She married Gordon E. Vogel in Somerset on July 26, 1947.

Dorothy was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and worked in surgery at N.E.O Hospital for 25 years. She also worked in the offices for Dr. Stoerkel and Dr. Mottola. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon E. Vogel; her parents; sisters, Ruth and Thelma; brothers, Stewart, Harvey, Russell, George, Eugene and Charles Eisler; and son-in-law, Jerry Burns.

She is survived by her children, Gretchen Burns, and George C. (Polly) Vogel; Grandchildren, David Burns, Robin Vogel, and Dennis Briggs. Friends will be received 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. in Madison. A Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at 8:00pm at the funeral home.

For friends and family in Pennsylvania there will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 18th at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, 494 West Main Street, Somerset, PA. Funeral Service will then take place at 11:00am on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Final Resting Place will be Somerset Memorial Park, Somerset, Pa.
