Rogersville: Douglas Dingus, age 86 of Rogersville, passed away, Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at his residence following an extended illness. He retired from the ASG glass plant. Following his retirement he worked several farmer’s markets.

Mr. Dingus was well known in several surrounding counties for his teaching about God’s Kingdom as one of Jehova’s Witnesses. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Laura Kate Compton Dingus. He is survived by his wife, Ruby C. Dingus; son, David Kirk Dingus of Kingsport; daughter, Evangeline Nylander and husband, David of Dallas, TX; step-grandson, Randy Pleasant; sister, Cheryl Smith of Traveler’s Rest, SC; brother, Ronnie Dingus of Kingsport.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 104 Regency Dr, Rogersville, TN Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville is honored to serve the Dingus family.
