Douglas “Doug” Cortelyou, 37, of Springfield, died on January 5, 2018 in Springfield. Doug was born on September 4, 1981 in Port Arthur, TX the son of Christina Oller. He married Randi Miers on May 21, 2016 in Springfield.

Doug worked as a HVAC Technician for E.L. Pruitt Co. and was a member of Union Local 137. He was a skilled electrician, plumber and construction worker. Doug enjoyed watching Street Outlaws and Goldrush cars and was an intelligent, thoughtful, handsome, kind man who always put others first.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Ronald L. Oller Sr. on December 29, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Randi; daughter, Cecelia Cortelyou; stepdaughters, Dezariah and Frankie Miers; mother, Christina Oller; father, Daniel Cortelyou; brother, Anthony Cortelyou; grandmother, Rose Oller of Springfield; and uncle, Ronald (Victoria) Oller Jr.; one niece, Isabella; and several cousins. Private family services will be held.
