Mr. Douglas Franklin Ford, II, was born November 16, 1972 in Lumberton, NC to the late Mr. Douglas F. Ford and Mrs. Hazel Ford McCall. He departed this earthly life on May 14, 2018 at Cape Fear Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC. Douglas graduated from San Diego High School and attended San Diego University in San Diego, California.

He never met a stranger, he was friendly to all. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, his stepfather Minister Charles F. McCall, grandparents, Mr. Abraham McMillan, Sr. and Mrs. Helen McMillan, Ms. Truemella Dingle and Mr. Gerald Ford. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mrs. Hazel Ford-McCall; a daughter, Olivia Ford; sisters, Ms. Truemella Ford of Lumberton, NC, Ms. Keandra McCall of Fayetteville, NC; three nephews, Mick and Chris Knighton of Lumberton, NC and Ayden McCall of Fayetteville, NC; three uncles, Mr. Larry Dingle (Katherine) of Atlanta, GA, Mr. Abraham McMillan (Jeanette), Mr. Sandy McMillan (Julie) all of Lumberton, NC; three great uncles, Mr. John Henry Graham, Mr. Roscoe McMillan of Lumberton and Mr. Al McMillan of Raleigh, NC; two aunts, Mrs. Esther Barnes of Lumberton, NC and Ms.Casandra Hursey of Lumberton, NC and a friend Ms. Adrian James; a host of other cousins and friends.
