Virginia Kay Caison Brixey of Lumberton, NC a loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother departed this life on Monday April 30, 2018 at Southeastern Hospice House. Virginia “Kay” was born in Robeson County on January 13, 1954 to Lawrence and Lela Caison Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Thurston and Michael Caison; two nephews, Brian and Jason Caison. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles E. Brixey; two sons, Charles E. Brixey, Jr. (Katina) and William P. Brixey (Sophia); grandchildren, Haley, Jada, Caison and Maggie; four brothers, Donald, Robert, Doug and Jack Caison; two sisters, Carol Parrett and Bonnie McDaniel; sister-in-law’s, Wanda, Mary Gwen, Billie Jean, Dale, Mary and Judy; and a host of family and friends.
