Obituary for Dr. Richard J. Vago Dr. Richard J. Vago, age 76, of Parma, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2018. He was born on November 6, 1941 in Cleveland, OH to the late Julius and Eleanor Vago. Cherished husband of 53 years to the late Susan Vago; devoted father of Ian (Shari) Vago; beloved grandfather of Brian and Abigail Vago; loving brother of Carol Pearson.

Richard graduated from The Ohio State University Veterinary School, class of 1968. He was also an avid Lionel train collector and was proud to tell everyone he started collecting in 1964. Richard loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

He will be greatly missed. Visitation will take place Friday, July 27, 2018 from 2PM – 4PM and 6PM – 8PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd. , North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence Saturday at 10AM.

Private burial will take place at a later date in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard’s name are suggested to Seasons of Life Hospice, 9511 W. Pleasant Valley Rd. , Parma, OH 44130.
