Obituary Drue Shouse, 88, of Clay City passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in his residence with his family by his side. He was born on July 14, 1930 in Linton, IN, the son of Ted Shouse and Vose (Horn) Shouse. Drue was a 1948 graduate of Coal City High School.

He served his county proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Drue was a machine operator for Peabody Coal Company and operated the DX filling station in Clay City.
