Ed’s Obituary Ed Dildine of Mace passed away Friday night at home. He was 70. Ed was a member of the NRA and an avid gun collector.

He also liked cars, gardening and tinkering. He was a 1967 graduate of Waveland High School. He worked at the Hendricks County Hospital.

Born Oct. 17, 1948 in Aurora, Illinois, he was the only child of Dwayne W. Dildine and Viola Catherine Crispin Dildine. He married Linda Burdine on May 30, 1971 in Barnard, Indiana.

She survives. Surviving family includes: wife, Linda Dildine; daughters, Charitee Dildine, Autumn Dawn (Randy) McIntyre; son, Matthew Dildine; daughter, Tamara Dildine; grandsons, Colt Preston Dildine, Anthony Holland; granddaughters, Mercedes Dildine, Camryn Dildine, Cadience Dildine; grandson, Lane Dildine; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Dildine and Orion Minier. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Wednesday, May 29th at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville. Services will begin at 1 PM, led by Pastor Roger Popplewell. Burial will follow at New Ross Cemetery.
