Edith Elaine Schoof, age 84, of Saginaw, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019. The daughter of the late Daniel and Frances Morningstar, Edith was born on June 20, 1934, in Hemlock, Michigan. She married Delbert R. Schoof on November 1, 1952.

He preceded her in death on August 12, 1991. Edith enjoyed bingo and trips to the casino. She was a longtime, dedicated housekeeper at St. Luke’s Hospital in Saginaw.

Edith will be forever loved and missed by her dear family. Edith is survived by her son, Gary Schoof; grandchildren, Raymond (Angie), Joseph (Corrie), and James (Brittney) Schoof, and William (Jeanie) Princinsky; 7 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including a very special niece, Janet Kilgore. Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert; her daughter, Billie Lou Princinsky; son in law, Daniel Princinsky; brother, Gerald Morningstar; sister in law, Alyce Morningstar; and her parents.
