US Army MSG Ret. Edmon “Bob” Horn,81, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Buchanan County, VA, on January 22, 1937, to the late Robert and Lula Horn.

Also preceding Edmon in death are his sisters, Bessie Horn, Verna Viars; brothers, Jesse Horn, Millard Horn, Tommy Horn, Bobby Horn, Gary Horn, and Larry Horn. Edmon “Bob” served during the Vietnam War in the aviation field. Left to cherish Edmon’s memory is his wife of 59 years, Eva Mae; sisters, Cora Mullins of Tazewell, VA, Gracie Freeman of Fayetteville; brother, Otas J. Horn and wife Sandra of Ohio; and his very special great niece, Jessica, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 2pm to 3pm at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. A funeral service will follow at 3pm. Burial will be at 10am on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
