Walter Thomas “Tom” O’Berry, 81, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, November 02, 2018, at Village Green Health & Rehabilitation. He was born in Lumberton on January 17, 1937. After proudly serving in the Air Force, he graduated from East Carolina University.

Left to cherish Tom’s memory is his wife, Brenda; children, Lesley (Tommy) Bradford of Vancouver, WA, and Preston O’Berry of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren, Mitchell and Greyson O’Berry; and sister, Nancy Marshall of Seattle, WA. A memorial service is planned for 11am on Monday, November 5, 2018, at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. A reception will follow the service in the Gathering Hall.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Snyder Memorial Baptist Church 20/20 Vision fund. Online condolences may be expressed at sullivanshighland.com. Services are entrusted to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
