OBITUARY Edmond W Woods IV March 12, 1949 – January 19, 2019 Edmond William Woods IV, lifelong resident of New Orleans passed away on January 19, 2019 in New Orleans Louisiana at the age of 69. He was the beloved husband of his child hood sweet heart, Connie B. Woods for 49 years. Beloved Father of Edmond R. Woods (Melissa).

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Marie Woods; and granddaughter, Kylyn Renee Woods. He is survived by his brother, Robert Burns; grandchildren, Amanda Mae Woods and Joseph James Woods; and great grandson Logan Christopher Woods. Edmond served our country faithfully in the United States Air Force in Vietnam from 1968 to 1972.

He was a dedicated pool player, and a member of the APA since 1991. He retired from Bungee Grain Incorporation after his 40 year career as a millwright. He was loved by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildson.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Children’s Hospital, 200 Henry Clay Avenue in New Orleans, LA 70118. A graveside service is will be held on January 23, 2019 at 1 PM at All Saints Mausoleum, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans La, 70124. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 11 AM.
