Henry’s Obituary Henry Lay, a native of Hahnville, LA, passed away at his home on January 14, 2019, at the age of 66. He is survived by his 3 beloved daughters: LaKeisha Ruby Lay, Tenesha Michelle Lay and Ayesha Nicole Lay; brother Robert Lay, Jr.; 4 sisters: Rosalie Lay-Ramsey, Eula Mae Lay, Betty Lay Johnson (Bartholomew), and JoAnn Lay Ingram; 6 grandchildren: Destyni D’Shaun Lay, Indya Ta’Leigh Major, Trea’Jour Rayne Major, Torian Ahmad Lay, Aidan Isaac Lay, and Astyn Jayce Richardson; 1 step granddaughter Tylin Renee Major; and Godmother Rosalie Brown. Preceded in death by his parents, Margarete Jones Lay and Robert Lay, Sr.; 1 sister, Ruby Lay Smith; his nephew/Godchild, Dorian Colby Lay; and godfather Ollie Tiller.

Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Family and Friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas United Methodist Church, 420 Webster Street, Kenner, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Kaseem Short, officiating.

Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, Hahnville, LA.
