Obituary for Edna Mae Cooper Lavender Edna Mae Cooper Lavender, 92, of Moore, SC, died Sunday, June 24, 2018, at her home. Born July 8, 1925, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Albert Dunning and Mamie Crow Cooper. A member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Mrs. Lavender was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who was devoted to her Lord and family.

Survivors include her husband of 76 years Russell Lavender; children, Brenda Blackwood (Francis) of Spartanburg, SC, Sharon Levi (David) of Hendersonville, NC, Leila Ray (Jim) of Moore, SC, Sherry Lavender of the home, Michael Lavender (Carolyn) of Campobello, SC, Joel Lavender (Linda) of Moore, SC; daughter-in-law, Jean Lavender of Buffalo, SC; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and sister, Audrey Plemmons of Saxon, SC. in addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sons, David Lavender and Randall Lavender. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, in Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Rd. , Moore, SC 29369, conducted by Pastor Sonny Bright and the Rev. Raymond Ford.
