OBITUARY Edward “Eddie” Allen Yates March 26, 1952 – October 4, 2018 Edward “Eddie” Allen Yates, 66, of Fort Wayne passed away on Thursday October 4, 2018. He was born on March 26, 1952 to the late Edward and Maren (Shepler) Yates in Cleveland, Ohio. Edward loved to drink beer and ride his Harley.

He also loved the many fun times at the Hook and Ladder. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Yates; daughters, Karrie (Michael) Helmick, Cassandra (David) Krauter, and Kristine Calvert; sons, James Crouse Jr. and Glenn Calvert Jr.; grandchildren, Mace, MahKanna, Brenton, Nadya, Adam, Cheryssa, and Drake; brothers, Dale (Sandy) Yates and Donald (Dawn) Yates; sister, Karen (Rob) Yates- Faust; and several nieces and nephews. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne IN 46809, with visitation one hour prior.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the Funeral Home. Contributions in “Eddie’s” memory may be made to Lutheran Heart Center. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
