Obituary for Edward Atwood Edward Lee Atwood, age 53, of Murphysboro, passed away at 6:12 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018, at his residence in Murphysboro. Edward as born on November 17, 1964, in Kankakee, Illinois, to Jack Atwood and Emiliee M. (Ulrich) Atwood. He had worked as a truck driver.

Edward married Michelle (Stevens) on October 10, 1999, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and she survives. Other survivors include two children Josiah Hair and his wife Michelle Hair of Froid, MN and Matthew Hair and his wife Danielle Hair of Murphysboro; two grandchildren Jackson Hair and Ellie Hair; his mother of Anna; two brothers Scott Atwood of College Park, MD and Dr. Thomas Atwood and his wife Sue Atwood of Los Lunas, NM; sixteen nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by his father and one sister Jacqueline Atwood. His body will be cremated.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. PLEASE CHECK BACK AT A LATER DATE. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jackson County Humane Society.
