Obituary for Carolyn Soldner (Foltz) Carolyn Marie Soldner, 76, formerly of Effingham, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at the Pinckneyville Rehab in Pinckneyville, IL. Carolyn was born on February 4, 1942, in Effingham, Illinois, to Bill Foltz and Mary (Thompson) Foltz Lyons. She had worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Open Prairie Ventures in Effingham.

Mrs. Soldner was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham, Illinois. She dearly loved animals and she liked to flower garden. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball Fan.

Carolyn was survived by two sons and their wives: Steve and Tina Logan of Murphysboro and Michael and Patti Logan of Altamont, IL; and four grandchildren Kelsey Jo-Marie (Christopher) Putz of Murphysboro, Steven Kyle Logan of Murphysboro, Paige Michelle Logan, St. Peter, IL, and Craig Michael Logan of Alamont. She was preceded in death by her parents. MEMORIAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE.
