Edward’s Obituary Edward R. Sabo, age 76 of Lakewood passed away peacefully on Friday, 5/10/19 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. He was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Fords and Edison before moving to Lakewood 20 years ago. He was employed as an Electrician and worked with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #164 of Hudson and Bergen Counties.

Formerly, he owned his own food distribution company, Jamarc Foods. He was a long-time donor of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, was very active with his electrical union and was a member of the Bocce Club, Landscape Committee, and Engineering Committee of the Fairways at Lake Ridge community in Lakewood. He enjoyed taking his dog, Butter, to the park, swimming, attending his grandchildren’s’ sporting events, and spending quality time with his family.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Lorraine E. (Garrymore) Sabo in 2016 and by his brother, Tommy. He is survived by his loving children, Marc his wife, Megan of Point Pleasant, Michele Sabo of Lakewood and Allyson Sabo of Montana; two grandchildren, Kayleigh and Connor; three sisters, Bessie, Linda, and Patricia; several nieces & nephews; and his companion, Delfina DeSimone.

A private memorial service for family and friends will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ on June 20th at 11 am.
