Obituary of Edward Holland Edward Bryan Holland, Sr.,76, formerly of Crisfield and Pocomoke City, died October 30, 2018 at his “Snow Bird” home in Ruskin, FL. Bryan was born on August 13, 1942 and raised in Crisfield, MD, the son of the late Edward T. “Sonny” and Ruby Priscilla Evans Holland. Bryan was a 1960 graduate of Crisfield High School and a Navy veteran who worked at NASA, Wallops Island, for 42 years, retiring from Boeing Co. in 1997.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the American Legion, and a life member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 1624 in Pocomoke City. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda McCready Holland; one son Edward Brian Holland, Jr. “Eddie” and Valerie Miller of Pocomoke City, MD; one granddaughter, Kylie Nicole Holland of Salisbury and two nephews, Daniel and Dustin Smith of Smith Island, MD. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a sister, Christina Smith.

An Elks Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke. Family and friends will gather for a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment, with military honors will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery, 2240 Old Snow Hill Road, Pocomoke City, MD.
