Obituary of Samantha Jarvis Samantha “Sam” Lynn Jarvis, 52, of Salisbury, died on Thursday, November 1, 2018, peacefully at her son’s home surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 10, 1966 in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late Duke and Susie Tubbs Jarvis. Sam was a homemaker most of her life.

She enjoyed the outdoors especially going to the beach, riding motorcycles and fishing. Some of her favorite pastimes include music, dancing, cooking, and cleaning. Most of all she loved to have fun.

In addition, Sam’s friends were a big part of her life, as she considered each of them family. Sam is survived by two sons, Robb Elliott and his wife Tommi and Charles Elliott; a daughter, Malina Rodriguez; two sisters, Sheila Melson and her husband James Parsons and Tammy Johnson and her husband Robert; her husband, John “Bear” Thompson; a half-brother, Jerry Cox; eight grandchildren, Brooke, Pharra, Harley, Cathleen, Parker, Peyton, Charles and Justin; a great-granddaughter, Korbyn, her former husband and father of her children, Wayne Elliott; as well as several nieces, nephews, and special friends. In addition to her parents, Sam is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Candace Elliott.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 6-8 pm at the Holloway Funeral Home, P.A. in Salisbury. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Sam’s honor to the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, 333 Mamaroneck Avenue #492, White Plains, NY 10605. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
