Eileen M. Schisler, 56, of Moore Township, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at her home. Born July 20, 1962 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Carr) Schisler. Eileen was a 1980 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and received an associate’s degree in biotechnology from Northampton Community College.

She was last employed by Wal-Mart, Lower Nazareth Township. Prior to that, she worked at the Express-Times for seventeen years. Eileen enjoyed reading, her cats and playing games on her tablet.

Surviving are a brother, Bill Schisler, of Stewartsville, NJ; four sisters, Elizabeth Slack, of Bangor, Pat Werkheiser, of Pottstown, Linda Schofield, of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Mary Denson, of Fayetteville, PA; and three grandchildren, Gregory, Braxton and Elizabeth Schisler. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Megan M. Schisler. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am Tuesday in St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 3900 Freemansburg Ave.

, Palmer Township. Call Tuesday 9:30-10:30am in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery.
