Elaine Evelyn McElroy (nee Janus), 86, was born September 17, 1931 and passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 5, 2018. Elaine was from Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Lincolnshire, IL. Elaine was the devoted wife for 52 years of the late William; loving mother of William Jr. (Susie), Kathleen (Rick) Standriff, Suzanne Zeier and Patrick; she is remembered and cherished by her 7 grandchildren, Sean (Erin) McElroy, Kelly McElroy, Lauren (Erik) Schulz, Michael Standriff, Brittany Zeier,… Read More » Leslie Zeier and Michelle Zeier, and 5 beautiful great grandchildren, Kellan and Toran McElroy, Sawyer and Alexia Gennusa and Sydney Schulz.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Janus and loving sister Lorraine Lazicki and Dorothy Tomal. Visitation will be Monday, July 9, 2018, from 4-8 pm at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, IL 60084. On Tuesday, July 10, 2018, prayers will start at the funeral home at 9:30 am, proceeding to Transfiguration Parish 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
